Untuk melakukan sharing printer sebenarnya cukup mudah, tinggal kita ke Control Panel – Device & Printer Device, lalu pilih Printernya – klik kanan – printer properties, lalu pilih tab “Sharing”. Untuk lebih jelasnya Kamu bisa baca kembali postingan saya di sini dengan judul “Cara Mudah Sharing Printer pada Windows” Untuk kali ini saya akan membahas Solusi Sharing Printer Dari Windows 64 Bit ke Windows 32 Bit atau sebaliknya. Yang menjadi masalah adalah ketika dalam sebuah jaringan network terdapat berbagai macam sistem operasi windows baik itu 32 bit ataupun 64 bit. Karena jika berbeda “bit” maka printer yang telah dishare sebelumnya tidak akan berhasil terpasang atau terinstall karena driver yang tidak sesuai dengan “bit” nya, misalnya Printer ada pada Windows 64 bit, lalu Komputer yang akan meminta akses printer dia terinstall Windows 32 bit, maka Printer tidak akan bisa terinstall atau tersharing karena ketidak cocokan driver bit nya. Maka solusinya adalah, cukup kita Install Driver Printer untuk sharingnya baik itu 64 bit maupun 32 bit, kita bisa lakukan seperti pada tahapan di bawah ini, oke mari kita simak bersama. Masuk ke Panel Device & Printer, lalu pilih printer properties – tab sharing – Klik Additional Drivers… Kemudian akan muncul kotal dialog “additional drivers” Kita bisa lihat pada gambar di atas x64 tercentang itu artinya Driver Printer 64bit sudah terinstall, yang jadi masalah adalah x86 belum tercentang, artinya Driver Printer 32bit nya berlum terinstall, berarti kita tinggal install driver 32bit’nya dengan melakukan klik centang – OK, lalu selanjutnya bisa di lihat pada gambar di bawah ini. Setelah itu kita bisa cari File Driver nya untuk memulai menginstall dengan klik Browse, arahkan ke folder yang berisi File Driver Printer tersebut. Jika sudah ketemu file driver printernya, klik Open, kemudian klik OK … Tunggu hingga proses installasi driver printer selesai. Jika sudah selesei maka status Driver X64 dan X86 akan tercentang dan installed Yes, seperti yang ditunjukan pada gambar di bawah ini Artinya adalah sekarang Printer kita telah dapat sharing ke semua operasi sistem baik itu 64 bit dan 32 bit, semua laptop dan komputer siap untuk melakukan cetak dan print ke Printer tersebut hehe.
